Whoa! Tax break!

...but not really. The rate did get cut 1.2 mils to 11 mils, but my house's assessment soared by 21%. This is good in terms of resale value. However, the upshot is I pay $104 more a year for daring to own a house. I wonder if we'll see a commensurate raise in the level of service...

Tidy workshop

Well, all the crap is off the floor anyways. And my socks no longer get a fresh coating of sawdust whenever I enter, which means the rest of the floors won't either.
